The Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation Memory and Justice Endowment is a permanent fund that will sustain the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center for decades to come, allowing ever more visitors to experience the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II through the eyes of those who lived it on the original site of incarceration.

Since the opening of the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center nearly five years ago, we have served more than 60,000 people from all 50 states and 25 countries. Your donation to this permanent fund extends this service to future generations by providing the lifeblood of our Center.

Time is of the essence, as the former incarcerees who represent our financial and moral base are rapidly passing away. Continue their legacy by donating today. The Nisei have poignant stories and memories of how the incarceration experience affected families and friends. We must keep the collective memories alive. Only in this way will such a shameful chapter in the history of our country be preserved for posterity. Only in this way can we use the lessons of this history to teach about the importance of tolerance, of defending our Constitution, and of civic duty.

Any amount helps. Please donate now or contact us at 307-754-8000 for more information.
